VEHICLE ACCIDENT
Regrettably, accidents are at the order of the day. Should you be unfortunate enough to be involved in an accident, don't despair - we are here to assist you with your claim. Please do the following:

A member of our professional team will assist you to submit your claim telephonically.
Our Claims department will appoint an approved tow operator who will assist you at the scene of the accident.
Please ensure that all details of third parties and/or witnesses are obtained at the scene of the accident.
Contact the SAPD immediately to report the incident and obtain a case number.
A repairer approved by the manufacturer of your vehicle will be appointed to attend to the repairs.
A rental car will be arranged, if this optional cover was selected.
An approved assessor will be appointed, and the damaged vehicle will be assessed. (You will be updated on the progress of your claim.)
If the vehicle can be repaired

The appointed assessor will authorize repairs at the time of inspection (if approved).
Please arrange with the repairer the most convenient date to commence with repairs to your vehicle.

If it is uneconomical to repair your vehicle
The approved assessor will determine if the vehicle is repairable, based on the value of the vehicle and the damage caused by the accident.
If irreparable, the assessor will arrange for the vehicle to be uplifted by the approved salvage contractor. (You will be updated on the progress of your claim.)
One of our professional claims consultants will contact you to discuss the claims procedure and settlement options with you.
Please have the following information ready when submitting a claim:
Your policy number/ID number.
Your driver's licence.
Details of any third party involved.
Details of all witnesses.
SAPD case number.
A quotation for repairing the damage.
The registration documents, if the vehicle is irreparable.
When you are the victim of motor, theft and/or hijacking
Contact the SAPD immediately to report the incident.
Ensure that you report the incident to your TRACKING company (where applicable).

An approved loss adjuster will be appointed to assist you and evaluate the loss. (You will be updated on the progress of your claim.)
The loss adjuster will also assist you with all relevant documentation required to finalize your claim.
As in all other incidents of loss or damage, one of our claims consultants will contact you to discuss your settlement options.

THEFT/DAMAGES

The SAPD case number.
In the event of a cellphone being stolen or lost, please keep your IMEI number handy so that you can obtain an ITC number from your service provider in order for the phone to be blacklisted.
A detailed list and description of all items in question.
Proof of ownership (if required).
Quotation for the repair or replacement of items.

MOTOR GLASS
It's quite easy - simply visit your nearest PG Glass or Glasfit centre.
You will be required to supply them with your IntegriSure policy number.
They will submit the claim on your behalf and approval should not take longer than 2 hours.
