A telephone call from long-standing IntegriSure client, Naas Botha, was the catalyst for a star-studded celebrity and charity golf day held in support of well known cricket and rugby commentator, Edwill van Aarde who also presented the popular television games show, Flinkdink.
The eighteen-hole charity golf day, held at the Gardener Ross, Ernie Else signature golf course in Centurion on Monday, 20 October 2008, was supported by a field of more than 154 players. Thirty-five South African celebrities also gave of their time, with Arnold Geerdts acting as the evening’s master of ceremonies and entertainment being provided by some of SA’s top performing artists.
Fundraising took the form of four-ball entrance fees and an evening sporting memorabilia auction, with a total of R80 000 being raised for Edwill.
