Practical hints for saving money..
You don't often get something for nothing. A booklet with hints about how to save money is now available free to all who are over 50.
"At every level of society, a lot is taken, but little is given", says IntegriSure managing director Arnold van der Linde.
"People over 50 are one of our main focus markets. Many of them are already retired. They are dependent on decisions that they made years ago and factors beyond their control", van der Linde says.
He says there are thousand of older people in South Africa living on or under the breadline.
"With this free publication, Ways to Save, we are glad to be making our small contribution to improving living conditions for older people", van der Linde says.
Many of the hints were sent in by members of the public. Five of them will each receive R1000 for their hint. They are Mr Selven Governer from Merebank (Durban) , Mrs Sannah Mametwa Phohu from Strydmag (Marble Hall) , Mr Sithenjwa Mzili from Diepkloof, Mrs Rosinah Seroke from Tembisa and from Itsoseng (Mafikeng), Mr Johannes Mokwena. Anyone older than 50 can receive a free copy of Ways to Save from IntegriSure by phoning the sharecall number 0860 055 055.
