Family Funeral Cover
The IntegriSure Death Benefit Plan provides cover for the Main Member, 1 Spouse, and 4 Dependent Children under the age of 21 years or 25 years if registered as a full-time student.
Individual/Extended Funeral Cover
Additional members which includes Parents, Parents-in-law and up to 2 Domestic Workers, can be added at a small additional monthly premium
Grandchildren Benefit
For a small additional premium add your grandchildren to your funeral plan to enable you to leave cash behind for them. No limit on number of grandchildren
Accident Cover
In the event of accidental death DOUBLE the assured amount will be paid out for any life assured under this policy with no waiting period, provided that the first premium had been received by the Insurer.
Martin’s
Martin’s will give all IntegriSure policyholders a 15 % Discount if they make use of Martin’s funeral services.
Premiums Cease
The policy will become paid-up after the death of the Main Member. The Spouse and Dependant Children will still enjoy cover with no premiums payable. Any other members assured under the policy must continue to pay premiums.
Payment of Claims
We ensure payment within 48 hours after all relevant documentation has been received. Money will be available immediately as proceeds are received outside of the deceased estate if a beneficiary has been nominated.
Waiting Periods and Exclusions
- There is a 3 month waiting period for death due to natural causes.
- There is a 6 month waiting period for the Grandchildren Benefit.
- In case of accidental death there is no waiting period, provided that the first premium has been received by the Insurer.
- Cover for death as a result of suicide is excluded for two years.
