These days, you get an app for almost everything – from listening to music, finding entertainment in your area, mobile banking, editing photos, to socialising with your friends. The list is endless.
If you don’t know what an app is, but are too embarrassed to ask, you might be surprised to find out that you are probably already using it on a daily basis.
A mobile app is defined as a “software application developed specifically for use on small, wireless computing devices, such as smartphones and tablets, rather than desktop or laptop computers.” The easiest way to identify an app is that it usually creates an icon on your mobile phone’s home screen after you download it.
According to analysts App Annie, Whatsapp is the top downloaded mobile application in South Africa. So if you’ve used it to communicate with friends and family, you are already an app user.

The best is that it allows you to carry all your key insurance information around in your pocket.

We would like to highlight two specific updates that you might find especially useful.
The holidays are usually a time that people socialise more than usual. If you have Breakdown cover you can avoid driving alone at night and celebrate the festive season in a responsible manner, by utilising IntegriSure’s Take Me Home service, which can now be booked with the app. Note that a booking must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Getting home safely is now simply a swipe away!
To request this service on your mobile, navigate to the app’s home screen and make your booking. If you have Take Me Home cover and you’re having car problems, go to the Assist Services section.
Additional app updates
Another new feature on the IntegriSure app is the option to refer a friend. If you want to share the gift of insurance that provides peace-of-mind, please recommend us to your friends and family. Simply go to the home screen and submit their details.
You will be notified by your App store when the update with its new features is available.
For extra peace of mind against emergencies this December, download IntegriSure’s app. You will find it by simply typing “IntegriSure” as a search term on your App store. Register as a user or for your convenience, you can use your existing self-service portal log-in details.
